The new Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and includes 16GB of internal storage. The 13 inch HD display provides users with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the Asus C301 Chromebook is expected to be priced at around $279.
This high price tag makes the C301 system the most expensive Chromebook Asus have created but is also the very first to feature 4GB of RAM combined with a full HD display. Other specifications include connectivity via both Bluetooth 4.2 and wireless communication via 802.11ac support.
Ports on the system include HDMI, 2 x USB 3.0 as well as a handy SD card reader to expand the internal storage if required, together with a HD camera and a 48 Whr battery.
